Udaipur,  Senior journalist Vishnu Sharma Hitaishi was honoured by Sahitya Mandal, Nathdwara, for his longstanding contribution to the fields of Hindi literature and journalism.

The honour was presented to him during the All India Litterateurs and Journalists Felicitation Ceremony, organised on the occasion of Hindi Diwas. The award was presented by Sahitya Mandal President Pt. Madan Mohan Sharma, Prime Minister Shyam Prakash Devpura, and historian Dr. Govind Menaria.

The three-day Sahitya Mahakumbh witnessed participation from litterateurs, journalists and literary enthusiasts from different parts of the country. The event featured discussions and programmes celebrating the contribution of Hindi literature and journalism.
