Udaipur: Udaipur-based writer Satya Bhushan Sharma has been conferred the honorary title of ‘Sahitya Shiromani’ in recognition of his outstanding literary work and dedicated contribution to literature. The honour was bestowed by the Dr Jaikiran Research and Teaching Institute, Badnagar, Ujjain district, Madhya Pradesh.

According to the certificate issued by the institute, society is facing new challenges in the present era, while relationships and human values are increasingly under strain. In this context, Sharma has made a notable contribution towards social development through his literary work.

The institute stated that his writing and sustained literary efforts have been contributing to social awareness and providing a positive direction to society. His literary contribution was described as “excellent and unique”, with his writings also playing a role in social development and the upliftment of economically weaker sections.

In recognition of these contributions, Sharma was conferred the honorary title of ‘Sahitya Shiromani’.

Sharma has been active in both the education and literary fields. His writings focus on social concerns, human emotions and contemporary issues, reflecting the changing realities of society.
