Udaipur: The Boarding Schools Association of India (BSAI) hosted its Annual Principals’ Conclave and Annual General Meeting (AGM) from August 23 to 25, 2026, in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The event was jointly hosted by Central Public School (CPS), New Bhupalpura, and Heritage Girls School.

The conclave brought together principals, educators and representatives from some of India’s leading boarding schools to foster collaboration, exchange ideas and deliberate on the future of education and educational leadership. The three-day gathering served as a platform for sharing experiences, exploring emerging trends and discussing innovative approaches to strengthening the boarding school ecosystem.

Around 55 reputed schools from across the country, along with BSAI members, school leaders, representatives and education experts, participated in the conclave. Members and office-bearers of BSAI also visited the CPS campus and interacted with the school leadership.

The annual meeting commenced with the traditional ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a soulful Saraswati Vandana presented by students, creating a serene and spiritual ambience.

Dr. Deepak Sharma, Director, CPS, welcomed all the distinguished guests and delegates. Dr. Alka Sharma, Chairperson, CPS, and Shreyansh Bhandari, Director, Heritage Girls School, felicitated members of the BSAI Management Committee and other distinguished guests.

The event was further enriched by the presence of BSAI President Captain A. J. Singh; BSAI Board Members Vinay Pandey and Lieutenant General Surendra Kulkarni; Strategic Advisor Bhavin Shah; Chief Operating Officer Sapna Shukla; BSAI Board Member Dr. Madhav Dev Saraswat; Jayant Harihar Lal; and Vidukesh Vimal.

The conclave emerged as a meaningful confluence of vision, leadership and excellence, providing education leaders from across India an opportunity to connect, collaborate and collectively reflect on the evolving landscape of boarding education.
