Jaipur: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that, guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”, the Double-Engine government is taking historic steps towards green and clean energy. As part of this endeavour, inaugurations and foundation-laying ceremonies were organised for development works worth nearly ₹3,500 crore in Jaipur and various other cities of the state, along with the launch of 71 PM e-Buses. These development works and projects will play an important role in realising the vision of Viksit Rajasthan-2047.The Chief Minister was addressing the gathering at HCM RIPA on Tuesday after dedicating various development projects to the people of Rajasthan. He said that electric mobility has emerged as a strong foundation for economic growth, energy security and a pollution-free future. Initiatives such as expansion of the charging network, the PLI scheme for the automobile industry and PM E-DRIVE are strengthening the EV ecosystem. As a result, sales of electric vehicles in the country have increased nearly 46 times since 2016.Development Projects Dedicated to the people by the Chief MinisterChief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for development works worth nearly ₹3,500 crore across various cities of the state.He also launched a total of 71 PM e-Buses. This included the launch of 24 e-Buses for Jaipur and Bhilwara from Jaipur, while 47 e-Buses for Alwar, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Kota and Udaipur were launched virtually.Under various schemes of the Labour Department, financial assistance of more than ₹154 crore was transferred through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to 1,32,421 workers and their dependents. Digital gas detectors and fire rescue kits were also distributed to workers.Minister of State for Local Self-Government and Urban Development (Independent Charge) Jhabar Singh Kharra said that continuous efforts are being made for the development of Rajasthan under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. He said that the state government is working seriously on basic issues such as water, electricity, roads, education, healthcare and employment.He expressed confidence that Rajasthan would emerge as a developed and prosperousstate, free from basic challenges, and carve out a distinct identity for itself in the country in the years ahead.Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Prem Chand Bairwa, Medical and Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar, Law and Legal Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel, Member of Parliament Manju Sharma, MLAs Kalicharan Saraf, Gopal Sharma and Kailash Verma, along with other public representatives, senior officials and a large number of citizens, were present at the programme.Projects Inaugurated128-slice CT scan machines and a 1.5 Tesla MRI machine at RUHS, Jaipur.A graduate students’ hostel at RUHS, Jaipur, constructed at a cost of more than ₹18 crore.Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences under the Ayushman Tower at SMS Hospital.A new IPD Tower at Janana Hospital, Chandpole, constructed at a cost of more than ₹51 crore.Sub-health centres at Abhaypur in Jhotwara and Rehlana in the Dudu Assembly constituency dedicated to the public.A women’s hostel with a capacity of 300 trainees at the Rajasthan Police Academy, constructed at a cost of more than ₹12 crore.Road construction and strengthening works in Ajmer worth approximately ₹24 crore.A total of 506 toilets, including 395 pink toilets, constructed in urban local bodies at a cost of more than ₹109 crore.LED street lights and various other development works in 57 urban local bodies at a cost of approximately ₹19 crore.Projects for Which Foundation Stones Were Laid76 development works worth more than ₹625 crore for improved waste management in urban local bodies.Sewerage-related works worth more than ₹465 crore under the AMRUT 2.0 scheme in Jaipur Municipal Corporation areas. More than 507 kilometres of sewer lines will be laid, providing sewer connections to 52,000 households benefiting approximately 13 lakh citizens.Seven traffic improvement works in Jaipur worth ₹81 crore, including an underbridge near Kartarpura drain, an underbridge at the old Chungi Junction on Ajmer Road, and U-turns and subways on Sikar Road, Mahal Road and New Sanganer Road, among other works.Traffic development works worth approximately ₹60 crore to connect Tonk Road and Mahal Road.Rooftop solar project worth more than ₹35 crore on the Dravyavati River.A satellite hospital in Jhotwara, Jaipur, along with various other development works.
