Udaipur: A special award distribution ceremony was organized at Delhi Public School, Udaipur, on August 13, 2026, to honour students who demonstrated outstanding achievements in academics and sports. Members of the School Management Committee, Mrs. Apoorva Agrawal and Mrs. Ashita Agrawal, graced the occasion with their presence.

The programme began with an Ish Vandana. Students who scored more than 95 per cent in Classes 10 and 12 under the CBSE examinations during the 2025–26 session, as well as students of Class 11 who delivered exceptional academic performances, were awarded a scholarship of ₹35,000 each along with a certificate of appreciation.

As a special honour, Chaitanya Yogesh Gawli, the CBSE Divisional Topper of Class 10, was awarded a ₹50,000 scholarship.

National-level sporting achievers were also felicitated for their outstanding performances. Each athlete received a ₹10,000 scholarship and a certificate of appreciation. The honourees included national-level rifle shooters Niyati Kothari, Manushree Chaudhary, Kartik Raj Singh, Adamya Bhargava, Keshav Raj Singh Jhala, Ishan Mehra, and Krisha Soni, along with national-level football player Harshvardhan Singh Rajpurohit.

An Inter-House Group Singing Competition was also organized on the occasion. Teams representing all four houses presented inspiring patriotic songs, filling the atmosphere with music and a strong sense of national pride.

Addressing the students, School Pro-Vice Chairman Mr. Govind Agrawal said that whether in sports or academics, success is possible only through focused and consistent hard work. He praised the students as a matter of pride for the school and expressed confidence that they would become leading members of the country's future generation.

Principal Sanjay Narwaria expressed his pride in the achievements of the students and said that the school gives equal importance to academics and sports. Accordingly, students who excel in both fields are awarded scholarships every year. He informed the gathering that the institution is providing a total of ₹80 lakh in scholarships this year. He emphasized that the scholarships are not merely awards but a recognition and honour of the students' hard work and achievements.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Vice-Principal Rajesh Dhabhai.
