Udaipur: Hindi Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and dignity at Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), Udaipur, on September 14, 2026. The programme highlighted the importance of Hindi, its promotion and wider use in the academic and administrative functioning of the university.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Pratap Singh attended the समारोह as the chief guest. Addressing the gathering, he emphasized the importance of promoting reading, writing and official correspondence in Hindi. He said that Hindi is a powerful and सहज medium of expression and plays an important role in preserving India’s rich culture, traditions and heritage. He called upon university officers and employees to make greater use of Hindi in their day-to-day official work.
On the occasion, Dr. Gayatri Tiwari, the distinguished speaker, shared insightful views on the utility of Hindi, its relevance in the present era and the need for its wider use. She said that Hindi is not merely a language of expression and communication but also an important link that strengthens Indian culture, traditions, social harmony and national unity.
