UDAIPUR: Celebrating the timeless elegance of the Indian saree and the spirit of womanhood, She Circle India organised the grand Udaipur Saree Premier League at Ashoka Green, Shobhagpura. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 300 women representing 18 teams, bringing together tradition, creativity, fashion and women’s empowerment.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Pooja Gandhi, IVF Specialist at Geetanjali Hospital, said that the saree is not merely an outfit but a symbol of Indian womanhood, cultural identity, traditions and values. She also described motherhood as a beautiful dream for many women, emphasising the importance of reproductive health awareness and timely medical guidance.

Highlighting the role of modern fertility treatments, Dr Gandhi said that every woman’s journey towards motherhood is unique. While some couples may face challenges in conceiving, In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) has emerged as a ray of hope for many. She encouraged women to speak openly about their health concerns, seek expert advice when needed and remain informed about reproductive health.

In recognition of her contribution and presence at the event, Dr Pooja Gandhi was felicitated with the prestigious ‘Saree Diva Award’.

The celebration beautifully blended the grace of Indian traditions with the confidence, creativity and aspirations of modern women. Through colourful themes and captivating presentations, participants showcased their love for the saree while celebrating cultural pride and sisterhood.
