Udaipur: Udaipur-based social worker and child rights expert Dr. Shailendra Pandya will address the “India@2047 – Summit 2026” as a special speaker at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi on August 20, 2026. The national summit, being organised as part of the Viksit Bharat@2047 initiative, will focus on key themes including leadership, innovation and India’s emergence as a global power.
Dr. Pandya will speak on “No Child Left Behind: Child Protection as the Foundation of India’s Journey to 2047.” In his address, he will highlight the crucial role of child protection, child rights and ensuring a safe, dignified and nurturing environment for children in achieving the vision of a developed India by 2047.
Dr. Pandya has been actively working in the field of child rights and protection for several years. His work has covered issues such as child labour, child marriage, child trafficking, child safety and various other child rights concerns at grassroots, policy and institutional levels. He has also served as a former member of the Rajasthan State Commission for Protection of Child Rights.
His participation at the prestigious national platform of IIT Delhi will reinforce the message that India’s development journey towards 2047 can be truly meaningful and inclusive only when every child is safe, educated, healthy and empowered with knowledge of their rights.
Dr. Pandya’s session at the India@2047 Summit 2026 will be held at 11:00 a.m. on August 20 at the Research and Innovation Auditorium on the IIT Delhi campus. The summit will bring together experts, policymakers and representatives from across the country working in areas including policy development, innovation and youth empowerment.
