Mumbai: This Independence Day, Zee Cinema is celebrating the spirit of the nation with Border 2, paying tribute to the courage, sacrifice and unwavering spirit of the armed forces who stand guard for the country. Built around the emotion of Independence Day, the TV premiere campaign brought the world of Border 2 closer to audiences across the country with its engaging and innovative campaign. Taking the campaign beyond television and digital screens, Zee Cinema brought the emotion of Border 2 to the streets and communities across India, creating opportunities for people to experience the campaign first-hand. The celebrations came alive in a big way with the Border 2 Tiranga Yatra, which took over the streets of Jaipur. A specially designed Border 2 truck travelled through the city, accompanied by bikers carrying the Tricolour, while patriotic music, dance, memorable Border 2 dialogues and live audience interactions brought people together along the route. With multiple stops across the cities, the Yatra turned everyday streets into vibrant Independence Day celebrations. Tiranga Yatra continues to Udaipur and is further extended through Border 2-themed canter activations, branded rickshaw announcements to 40+ cities across Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan. Through these celebrations, Zee Cinema brought the spirit of Independence Day out onto the streets and into the heart of communities, creating moments of pride, energy and togetherness around Border 2. The celebrations continue through Independence Day and will culminate on 15th August evening, when families across the country experience the World Television Premiere of Border 2 in their homes at 7:30 PM on Zee Cinema. Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 brings together Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty in a story set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta and Nidhi Dutta, the film celebrates courage, camaraderie and the spirit of the Indian soldier.
