Retired Officers Association Spreads Diwali Joy to Those in Need

Kota. Diwali is a grand festival of joy, meant to illuminate every home with lights, let children enjoy fireworks, and share sweets. With this spirit, the Retired Officers Association has taken the initiative to ensure that every household experiences the happiness of Diwali.

Association President Dinesh Jain stated that this year, the association will celebrate the festival by reaching out to needy, helpless, and underprivileged families. "Our aim is to bring Diwali joy into the lives of those in need. This is part of our social responsibility," he said.

The initiative was launched at the Ganesh Udyan, where members visited underprivileged families. Sweets, fireworks, and diyas were distributed to poor children, who were also provided with meals. General Secretary R.K. Jain shared that the event was sponsored by Lalit Sagantani and Pradeep Agnihotri.

Event committee member Devendra Singh Chauhan mentioned that chief guest Sandeep Pahadiya emphasized the importance of providing every possible support to needy children. Distinguished guest Dheerendra Jain assured support for children's education beyond primary levels and discussed guidance for higher education.

Other notable attendees included D.D. Nenani, S.K. Gupta, Pradeep Agnihotri, D.S. Chaudhary, Dheerendra Kumar Jain, along with various officials such as V.K. Sharma, Ajay Sorhal, Paramanand Goyal, Arvind Sharma, Mahaveer Jain, K.P. Gorwal, Ravi Gupta, Lakshman Singh, Ranvat Singh Rana, and Prateek Goyal.

Additionally, retired teacher Praveen Chaudhary from DAV Kota, who has been tirelessly providing free education and essential facilities to children for several years, was honored for her efforts to raise awareness about education among the children living in the Ganesh Udyan area.
