Two Drug Traffickers Arrested with 21.63 Kilograms of Opium in Kota

Kota,  In a significant drug bust, the Kota city police have arrested two traffickers and seized 21.63 kilograms of opium from their possession. The operation took place in the Bhimganj Mandi area near the railway station car parking.

Constables Lokesh and Vinod, part of the police team led by Bhimganj Mandi Station House Officer Ramkishan Godara, arrested Vikram Singh and Hardeep Singh, residents of Haryana, on charges of drug trafficking. The seized opium is valued at ₹3,25,000.

City Superintendent of Police Dr. Amrita Duhan stated that the operation was part of a special campaign launched by the district headquarters to curb drug trafficking and enforce effective measures against illegal narcotics. Under the direction of Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Dilip Saini and supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Central) Ganga Sahay Sharma, a police team was formed, including Constables Lokesh, Vinod, Deepak, and Shivkumar.

Under the leadership of Bhimganj Mandi Station House Officer Ramkishan Godara, the police team successfully tracked down and apprehended the traffickers, making a significant dent in the drug trade in the region.
