Jaipur, * The inauguration ceremony of the Indian Soft Hockey League's logo and mascot will be held under the chairmanship of Prof. Amarika Singh, Pro Chancellor of NIMS University, on Friday, July 17, 2024, at Jai Club, Jaipur.
The ceremony, organized by the Amateur Soft Hockey Federation of India, will see the presence of eminent personalities such as Padma Shri Ram Singh Shekhawat (Arjuna Awardee, Athletics), Shri Hanuman Singh (Arjuna Awardee, Basketball), and Shri Vikram Singh Shekhawat (Chairman, Rajasthan Basketball Association), along with many other international and national players.
Dr. Kuldeep Singh Jhala, Secretary of NIMS University's Sports Board, mentioned that the senior vice president of the Amateur Soft Hockey Federation of India, Shri Gajendra Singh Rathore, and Secretary Shri Ramesh Singh have invited Prof. Amarika Singh to preside over the event.
It is noteworthy that the Indian Soft Hockey League will be organized by the Amateur Soft Hockey Federation of India from November 7 to 10 at Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium in Jaipur. The league will feature 10 men's teams and 4 women's teams.
During the inauguration ceremony, international athletes, including Padma Shri Ram Singh Shekhawat (Arjuna Awardee - Athletics), international basketball player Shri Hanuman Singh (Arjuna Awardee - Basketball), and Shri Vikram Singh Shekhawat, Chairman of Rajasthan Basketball Association, along with many other international and national players, coaches, and dignitaries, will be present.
