Udaipur, Bhupalpura Girls' School showcased an impressive performance at the 68th District-Level Mallakhamb and Weightlifting Competitions, securing the championship title. Under the guidance of senior physical education teacher Indira Kartala, the school's students excelled in the under-17 age group Mallakhamb event, where Deepika Khatik and Sapna Shaktawat were selected for the state-level competition. Both girls will represent their school and district at the upcoming state-level Mallakhamb competition to be held in Bharatpur.
In the weightlifting category, the girls from Bhupalpura also shone brightly in both the under-17 and under-19 categories. Senior physical education teacher Indira Kartala, along with coach Himanshu Bushra Khan, led the team to victory, securing three gold and one bronze medal in the under-19 category, and two gold, three silver, and one bronze medal in the under-17 category. This outstanding performance led to the school winning the championship title in weightlifting as well.
Five students from Bhupalpura will now represent Udaipur district at the state-level weightlifting competition to be held in Jodhpur. The participants include Mantasha Bano (57 kg), Amreen (64 kg), Alisha (81 kg), Anita Meena (50 kg), and Tanisha Sahu (76 kg).
