Jaipur, A seminar of all Travelling Accounts Inspectors from across the North Western Railway zone was organized on Thursday at the North Western Railway Headquarters in Jaipur.
Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, Shri Shashi Kiran, informed that the seminar was held under the chairmanship of Principal Financial Adviser Ms. Geetika Pandey. Addressing all the Travelling Accounts and Ticket Inspectors, Ms. Pandey emphasized performing their duties with sincerity and complete integrity, and instructed them to further strengthen the internal inspection of station accounts. She stated that Accounts Inspectors play a crucial role in increasing the railway’s traffic revenue, and it is their responsibility to ensure that railway earnings are protected and that no fraud, embezzlement, or financial irregularities occur at stations.
All Accounts Inspectors from the North Western Railway and officials from the Traffic Accounts Office were present at the seminar. Financial Adviser and Chief Accounts Officer (Traffic), Shri Rupesh Singhvi, attended all sessions and provided guidance to the inspectors. North Western Railway’s Chief Commercial Manager (Passenger Traffic), Shri Dhirumal, also addressed the participants. A PowerPoint presentation was used to share information about the latest developments and innovations in the railway sector.
In his address, Shri Singhvi called for stronger coordination between the Accounts and Commercial Departments and stressed the need for collective efforts to enhance railway revenue. Notably, all inspectors from the North Western Railway were present, covering regions across Rajasthan as well as parts of Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat. Inspectors working in distant districts—from Shri Ganganagar and Hanumangarh in the north to Udaipur, Abu Road, Jaisalmer, and Barmer in the south—participated and shared their experiences on a common platform.
