Udaipur: The Udaipur Chamber of Commerce & Industry (UCCI), in collaboration with the Aravali Foundation, successfully organized an engaging and insightful interactive session titled “Boost Your Startup Journey with Lessons from Leading Entrepreneurs” at the P.P. Singhal Auditorium.
The session brought together startup founders, aspiring entrepreneurs, investors, and industry professionals under one roof, creating a vibrant platform for knowledge exchange, inspiration, and collaboration.
Welcoming the participants, UCCI President Mr. Manish Galundia highlighted UCCI’s commitment to nurturing the startup ecosystem by offering continuous support through networking opportunities, mentorship programs, and strategic guidance.
Setting the agenda for the session, Honorary Secretary Mr. Ashish Chhabra introduced the Program Convener, Dr. Anand Gupta, who skillfully moderated the panel discussion and guided the conversation across key dimensions of the startup journey.
The session featured an impressive lineup of successful entrepreneurs and industry experts. Mr. Sanjeev Somani, Founder of Lexham Partners, shared valuable insights into startup funding and investor expectations, explaining the structured investment lifecycle—from pre-seed and seed stages to growth equity.
Adding a strong purpose-driven perspective, Mr. Deepak Parihar of GoodDot spoke about building a mission-led vegan food startup focused on combating animal cruelty, proudly sharing that their efforts have helped save nearly 20 million animals.
Capital markets expert Mr. Nitin Mathur shed light on alternative fundraising avenues, including IPOs and capital market listings, while Mr. Piyush Jain and Dr. Prashant Agrawal of SkinInspired presented a compelling startup growth narrative, emphasizing the critical role of strong human resources in scaling a business.
Highlighting innovation with social impact, Mr. Narayan Lal Gurjar, Founder & CEO of EF Polymer, showcased water-retention solutions designed to protect crops in water-scarce regions, particularly benefiting farmers in and around Udaipur and Rajsamand.
Concluding the panel, Mr. Shubham Gandhi of Hey Concrete shared his journey of developing ultra-high-performance concrete—lightweight, extremely strong, and uniquely available in India—using locally sourced raw materials and adopting both B2B and B2C funding models.
The interactive Q&A session saw enthusiastic participation, with attendees engaging deeply on topics ranging from fundraising and R&D to scaling and sustainability. The event witnessed participation from over 200 attendees, reflecting the growing startup momentum in the region.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by UCCI Vice President Mr. Mahendra Singh Khimesra, reaffirming UCCI’s dedication to empowering innovation-driven enterprises in Udaipur and beyond.
