Water Cooler Donated at Sanwaliya Seth Temple

 

Udaipur, JMr. Rajesh Bhaumik, Zonal Head of Punjab National Bank (PNB), Jaipur, was on a two-day visit to the Udaipur Division from June 5 to June 6, 2025. During this visit, he was accompanied by Mr. Ritesh Kumar Patel, Udaipur Division Head.

As part of PNB’s Corporate Social Responsibility, the bank gifted a 150-litre water cooler at the renowned Sanwaliya Seth Temple, Mandfiya, to provide cool drinking water to thousands of pilgrims visiting from across the country. On the occasion of World Environment Day (June 5), Mr. Bhaumik also planted a sapling within the temple premises and held a discussion with temple committee members.

Later the same day, Mr. Bhaumik inspected the Mid Corporate Center and PNB Loan Point in Udaipur. He interacted with esteemed local clients, during which potential business worth ₹130 crore was identified. Clients were also informed about various innovations introduced by PNB to enhance customer service. Feedback regarding services was collected, and Mr. Bhaumik reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to delivering top-tier financial services.

Upon arrival at the Udaipur Division Office, Mr. Bhaumik was welcomed by Division Head Mr. Ritesh Kumar Patel. In his address to the staff, Mr. Bhaumik discussed bank priorities, challenges, and the need to adopt smarter and more impactful working methods. He encouraged the team by sharing valuable experiences and insights aligned with PNB’s business goals.

On June 6, Mr. Bhaumik reached out to a broader audience through a special interview broadcast on Akashvani Udaipur and 101.9 Lake City FM, where he discussed “Expansion of Digital Banking Services: Opportunities and Challenges” with anchor Mr. Vinod Sharma.

Mr. Patel assured the Zonal Head that under his leadership, Udaipur Division would continue progressing across all performance metrics and provide tailored financial services to every customer. The visit also saw participation from MCC Head Mr. Durgesh Kumar, Deputy Division Head Mr. Ved Prakash, senior branch managers, and other officials.
