Udaipur:Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital (GMCH), Udaipur, marked a significant milestone in medical education with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art Virtual Dissection Table (VDT) in the Department of Anatomy on January 2, 2026. The advanced facility was inaugurated by Mr. Ankit Agrawal, Executive Director, Geetanjali Group.

The Virtual Dissection Table is an advanced 3D interactive learning technology that enables medical students to gain an in-depth understanding of human anatomy. This innovative system is expected to greatly enhance the teaching–learning experience for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students, as well as for surgical teams, by providing a more effective and practical approach to studying the structure of the human body.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ankit Agrawal emphasized that the integration of technology in modern medical education is essential. He described the Virtual Dissection Table as a major achievement for the Anatomy Department, stating that it would offer students valuable hands-on learning experiences and help them develop a deeper and more practical understanding of human anatomy.
The event was attended by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Rakesh Kumar Vyas, Vice President CA Sandeep Kunawat, Dean Dr. Sangeeta Gupta, along with several senior faculty members, staff, and students of Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital.
With the launch of this advanced facility, Geetanjali Medical College has taken yet another strong step forward in strengthening and modernizing medical education.
