Udaipur. On the occasion of World Sight Day, Alakh Nayan Mandir Eye Institute, Udaipur, organized an eye check-up camp dedicated to women’s empowerment. The camp was conducted in collaboration with women from the Sadhna Group (Seva Mandir Institution) across different locations of Udaipur and Rajsamand, including Bedwas, Delwara, Kelwara, and Sishvi.

A total of 400 women underwent eye examinations, and 57 women were provided free spectacles to help improve their vision. The initiative was aimed at spreading awareness about eye health among women and encouraging them to prioritize their eyesight as part of overall well-being.
The medical camp was conducted by a team of eye specialists from Alakh Nayan Mandir Eye Institute, with coordination by Abhay Raina and Prashant Ameta.
On this occasion, Mrs. Meenakshi Choondawat, Executive Trustee of the institute, stated that the initiative was launched to raise awareness among women about the importance of eye health. She emphasized that women often neglect their own health while caring for their homes and families. Through this camp, the institute aims to guide women in the right direction and remind them how essential regular eye check-ups are for maintaining good vision and overall quality of life.
