Ahmedabad: In a significant step toward promoting Jain unity, the Jain International Seva Organisation (JISO) team held a special and inspiring meeting with Shri Samvegalalbhai, President of Anandji Kalyanji Trust, during their spiritual journey. The JISO delegation was led by Founder Chairman Shri Suresh Punamia and National Propaganda Minister Shri Prashant Javeri.
On this auspicious occasion of Diwali and New Year, the leaders exchanged greetings and engaged in deep discussions on the vital topic of “Jain Unity”.
Shri Samvegalalbhai emphasized the urgency of the matter, stating:
"The time has come for all sects of the Jain community to come together and advance ‘Jain Unity’ as a mission, as an organized movement. Failure to achieve this unity now could have long-term consequences for the Jain society."
Inspired by these thoughts, Shri Suresh Punamia responded:
"The JISO family will make every effort to propagate this mission of Jain Unity through our digital platform. Under your guidance, ‘Jain Unity’ will become the core mission of JISO’s future work."
During the meeting, the JISO team honored Shri Samvegalalbhai for his vision, which he accepted warmly, expressing his deep affection for the organization.
This inspirational encounter is set to provide a new direction to the Jain community, focusing on unity, service, and harmony. The JISO team, motivated by this dialogue, has resolved to strengthen Jain unity digitally.
Planned Initiative: The initiative aims to bring together all major sects — Digambar, Shwetambar, Terapanth, and Sthanakvasi — along with four key pillars of the Jain community: Jain saints, Jain Sangh, Jain institutions, and Jain laypersons, on a single digital platform. This effort will also support a global campaign to map and connect Jains worldwide, creating a cohesive and empowered community.
Opportunity for the Jain Community: Connect with JISO today and receive a free Jain Minority Card by sending “Hi” on WhatsApp to 905 905 4563.
This initiative marks a proud moment for the Jain society, fostering unity, outreach, and digital empowerment.
