Grand Holi Milan & Phag Festival Celebrated by Shri Bada Paliwal Hitkari Mandal

On 4 March 2026, Shri Bada Paliwal Hitkari Mandal organized a vibrant Holi Milan, Samuhik Dhundhotsav and Phag Mahotsav, bringing together members of the community in a joyful celebration of tradition, culture and togetherness.

The event commenced at 11:00 AM with a collective recitation of the Chandrashekhar Stotra at Shri Harhareshwar Mahadev Temple, Nathighat and Nageshwar Mahadev Temple. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from community members, with Vice President Keshav Ji Joshi playing a significant role in organizing the event.

Later in the evening around 4:00 PM, the celebrations continued at the community hall with a social Dhundhotsav, Holi Milan ceremony and welcome function. During the occasion, nearly ten infants were blessed in a collective Dhundhotsav ritual and were presented with commemorative certificates. Newly married couples of the community were also felicitated and honored with certificates.

The success of the Phag Festival was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Gayatri Purohit, Tara Paliwal, Niru Paliwal, Shailesh Purohit, Bhupendra Purohit, Lokesh Paliwal, Narendra Vyas, Jagdish Vyas, Harshvardhan Purohit, Lokesh Paliwal and Ghanshyam Paliwal, along with the entire Holi Milan organizing committee.

The cultural segment of the program added vibrant energy to the celebration. Charvi Paliwal, Kimaya Paliwal, Naina, Preet and Tosh presented delightful dance performances, while Abhishek Purohit mesmerized the audience with his soulful devotional singing. Meena Paliwal, Poonam Paliwal and Palak Paliwal also rendered beautiful bhajans, and Suresh Purohit along with his son further enriched the devotional atmosphere with their musical presentation.

The program was presided over by Banshilal Purohit and Bhagwati Paliwal. On the occasion, Mandal President Eklingnath Paliwal highlighted the initiatives and achievements of the newly formed executive committee and also shared the roadmap for upcoming activities. He announced that during the summer vacation, the Mandal plans to organize educational, cultural and sports activities for children and women.

The event concluded with members exchanging Holi greetings, expressing gratitude to all contributors, and celebrating the spirit of unity, tradition and community bonding.
