UDAIPUR, Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed-to-be University), Udaipur, has secured a major academic milestone after its Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programs were ranked No. 1 in Rajasthan in the International Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) 2026 rankings.
The achievement marks another significant recognition for the university, which has consistently strengthened its academic reputation through quality education, research, digital infrastructure, and student-centric learning.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Col. (Hon.) S.S. Sarangdevot described the ranking as a reflection of the university's long-standing commitment to academic excellence and social empowerment.
Founded in 1937 by visionary educationist Pandit Janardan Rai Nagar (Janu Bhai), the institution was established to bring education to workers, marginalized communities, and tribal populations. Prof. Sarangdevot said the latest recognition symbolizes the dedication, hard work, and collective efforts of the university's faculty, staff, and students in transforming that vision into reality.
"This ranking is not merely a number but a testament to the commitment and perseverance of everyone associated with the institution. It motivates us to continue striving for excellence and strengthening our global academic presence," he said.
Registrar Dr. Tarun Shrimali congratulated the university community, saying the recognition confirms that Rajasthan Vidyapeeth continues to fulfill its founding mission while maintaining high academic standards.
University Ranking Coordinator Dr. Chandresh Kumar Chhatlani said the IIRF rankings are based on rigorous evaluation criteria, including academic quality, research output, digital learning resources, placement performance, and adherence to international educational standards.
Faculty members Dr. Yagya Ameta, Dr. Vikas Dangi, and Dr. Lalit Salvi were also present during the announcement.
The university has previously earned national recognition by securing a place among India's Top 50 universities in academic performance statistics and achieving 39th rank nationally in the IIRF Impact Rankings, while also being ranked No. 1 in Udaipur. The latest achievement further reinforces Rajasthan Vidyapeeth's position as one of Rajasthan's leading higher education institutions.
