Udaipur Pays Tribute to Jallianwala Bagh Martyrs

Udaipur On the occasion of the anniversary of the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, a heartfelt tribute was paid to the martyrs at the Shaheed Smarak, Town Hall, Udaipur. The homage was led by Pankaj Kumar Sharma, General Secretary and Spokesperson of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee.

The program commenced with a two-minute silence in memory of the martyrs. This was followed by floral tributes offered by all attendees, honoring the supreme sacrifice of those who lost their lives in one of the darkest chapters of India’s freedom struggle.

Addressing the gathering, Sharma described the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre as a deeply tragic yet defining moment in India’s history, which strengthened the spirit of resistance and intensified the collective resolve for independence. He emphasized that the sacrifices of the martyrs continue to inspire citizens to uphold patriotism, unity, and democratic values.

Prominent citizens including Govind Saxena, Sajjad Khan, Kripa Shankar Mishra, Subhash Chittora, Sanjay Mandawani, Mahendra Bishnoi, Pintu Khan, Prem Bishnoi, Kalu Boss, Prakash Chaudhary, Mukesh Chaudhary, Mansingh, Ashok Soneri, and several others were present on the occasion, paying their respects and remembering the heroes of the nation.
