St. Gregorius School Shines Again in District-Level Sports

 

Udaipur: St. Gregorius C.S. School once again demonstrated their prowess in the 67th district-level sports competition, particularly in the discipline of Judo, by clinching medals and championships in both the boys' and girls' categories, aged 17 and 19.

Principal Shubha Jos revealed that the school's talented athletes, under the guidance of the Talent Academy, excelled in this competition. In the 17-year-old boys and girls category, the school's players secured gold, silver, and bronze medals. Gahana Makheja (48 kg) won gold, Mahika Vyas (40 kg) secured silver, Pahal Bokadiya (56 kg), Bhumi Kumawat (70 kg) earned bronze, and Himanshi Jhala (63 kg) claimed silver.

In the 19-year-old girls' category, Upkirat Kaur (52 kg) and Dishi Porwal (55 kg) won bronze medals. In the 17-year-old boys' category, Preetam Rawat (66 kg), Prashant Khathuria (81 kg), and Mihir Nalwaya (over 90 kg) clinched gold medals, while Vishv Pratap Singh (73 kg) and Nehil Porwal (56 kg) secured bronze.

In the 19-year-old boys' category, Vedansh Tank (66 kg) won gold, and Saksham Gera (73 kg) earned bronze medals. St. Gregorius School's students showcased their Judo skills and commitment to sports, bringing honor to their institution and the city of Udaipur.
