Organizes Blood Donation Camp in Collaboration with HDFC Bank

The Faculty of Engineering at Pacific University, in collaboration with HDFC Bank and Pacific Medical University, organized a Blood Donation Camp on December 2, 2023. The inauguration of the camp was carried out by the University President, Prof. K.K. Dave, Prof. Hemant Kothari (Dean, P.G.), and Prof. Dilendra Hiran (Faculty Chairman, Faculty of Engineering).

During the inauguration, they emphasized the importance of blood donation, stating that it not only saves lives but also brings numerous health benefits to the donors themselves.

The event was organized under the corporate social responsibility of HDFC Bank. Pallika Jain, Abhishek Tank, and Punit Murdia represented HDFC Bank during the event.

Prof. Dilendra Hiran, Faculty Chairman, encouraged students and staff members to participate in this noble cause. He highlighted that donating blood is a virtuous act, providing an opportunity for individuals to fulfill their duties towards society.

The program was coordinated by Dr. Ritu Khanna and Mr. Deepak Vyas. A large number of students and staff members actively participated in the blood donation camp, contributing to the success of the event.
