####Sangam University Conducts Yoga and Pranayama Session at Bhilwara District Jail

Bhilwara, In a meaningful initiative aimed at promoting holistic well-being and mental empowerment, Sangam University organized a special Yoga and Pranayama session at the District Jail, Bhilwara. The program focused on encouraging a healthier lifestyle, emotional balance, and positive thinking among inmates.


Addressing the gathering, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Karunesh Saxena emphasized the transformative power of yoga in daily life. He highlighted that regular practice of yoga and pranayama not only enhances physical fitness but also nurtures mental peace, self-discipline, and a positive outlook. Encouraging the inmates to embrace yoga as a lifelong habit, he described it as a powerful tool for personal growth and inner strength.

The practical session was led by Sports Officers Sanjay Sharma and Ravi, who demonstrated various yoga postures and breathing techniques. The inmates participated with remarkable enthusiasm and discipline, showing keen interest in learning and practicing the exercises.

Following the successful completion of the program, Prof. Saxena expressed his gratitude to Jail Superintendent Shailendra Faujdar and the entire prison staff for their valuable support and cooperation. He noted that such initiatives play a significant role in the physical, emotional, and mental development of inmates, helping them move toward a healthier and more positive future.

The event was attended by Dr. Rajkumar Jain, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Sangam University, Administrative Officer Harish Sharma, along with several university representatives and prison officials.

The program reflected Sangam University’s commitment to community engagement and its vision of spreading the benefits of yoga beyond traditional classrooms, reaching every section of society through meaningful outreach initiatives.
