Cycle Expedition "Pedal to Jungle" to be Held in Banswara This Year

Udaipur, South Rajasthan: In an effort to promote eco-tourism and environmental conservation, the Green People Society of Udaipur, in collaboration with the Forest Department, is organizing the seventh edition of the "Pedal to Jungle" expedition from December 21st to 24th, this year in the Banswara district. This cycle expedition covers approximately 125 kilometers through nature's breathtaking landscapes.

Earlier this week, the organizing team, led by society president Rahul Bhatnagar and retired DFO Pratap Singh Chundawat, along with Western Motor Sports' Anukraman Singh Rathore, visited Banswara district to inspect the route chart. They also held discussions with local authorities and officials regarding the preparations for this annual event.

Mr. Neeraj K. Pawan, the District Commissioner of Banswara, inquired about the administrative expectations for the event. He emphasized that such events would not only enrich the natural beauty of Banswara but also bring positive changes in people's perception of cycling.

Jagmal Singh, a former royal family member and part of the organizing team, highlighted the natural beauty of the Ghataol, Chachakota, and Mahi Dam regions, among others, and mentioned that cyclists would experience the unique beauty and adventure of these areas.

Here is the schedule for the "Pedal to Jungle" program:

- The expedition will commence on December 21st with a flag-off event in Udaipur.
- On December 22nd, cyclists will reach destinations like Beneshwar, Mota Gaon, Jagpura, and Chundai Lake, where they will rest for the night.
- On December 23rd, the journey continues to Dungaria, Undawela, Bhungara, and Mahi Dam before reaching Chacha Kota for an overnight stay.
- Finally, on December 24th, participants will cycle from Chacha Kota to Bai Talab, Kagdi, Purana Shahar, and ultimately Shyampura, where the expedition will conclude with a closing ceremony.

During the expedition, participants will not only enjoy cycling through the jungles and hills of Banswara but also explore the region's historical and religious sites.
