Solar Cooker Demonstration for Future Teachers

The students of the Education Department at B.N. University were introduced to the design and functioning of the solar cooker today. The future teacher trainees were informed that the solar cooker is effectively used for heating, steaming, and cooking various food items, and is considered a boon for working women. It was explained that food prepared in a solar cooker retains its nutritional value while remaining both healthy and flavourful. Items such as lentils, baati, rice, laddoo, rajma, and khaman dhokla can be easily prepared using this device. This information was shared by Dr. P. C. Jain, who is involved in environmental awareness, water conservation, and drug de-addiction campaigns.

Dr. Manju Jain, who has been involved in food-related initiatives for the past 43 years, was also present on the occasion.

Students Bhumi, Diksha, Gargi, Kavya, and Bhoomika were among those present.
