Bayer Launches Trance™ to Support Smallholder farmers in India with Next-Generation Pest Management

Udaipur : Bayer today announced the launch of Trance, an innovative insecticide designed to help cotton farmers effectively manage sucking pest complexes, including aphids, jassids and whitefly nymphs. Combining two complementary modes of action in a single solution, Trance delivers broad-spectrum control while promoting healthier crops, improved productivity and enhanced farmer profitability. The product will be available across key cotton-growing states, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Punjab, Haryana, and West Bengal, starting July 2026. Trance will be available in 100 ML, 220 ML and 500 ML pack sizes.

Cotton cultivation in India continues to face increasing pressure from multiple sucking pests occurring simultaneously, evolving pest resistance and limited cost-effective solutions for managing pest complexes. These challenges often lead to reduced crop vigour, lower yields and increased production costs for farmers.
