Udaipur — Delhi Public School, Udaipur has inaugurated a new STEM Robotics and AI Innovation Lab for its students in the academic session 2026–27. This initiative aligns with the goals of the National Education Policy 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework 2023, which aim to bring transformation and innovation in school education across India. The lab is designed to support students’ holistic development and help them acquire competency-based skills, knowledge, and practical expertise.
The lab was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Bhuvan Joshi from the Udaipur Solar Observatory. On this occasion, Management Committee Member Ashita Agrawal welcomed and felicitated the chief guest. She stated that the lab, equipped with advanced toolkits and modern equipment, will enable students to engage in automation, practical learning, coding, programming, innovation, and project-based learning. It will also help them develop and execute new AI-based projects, which are highly relevant in today’s world.
Pro Vice Chairman Govind Agrawal expressed his खुशी (happiness), stating that along with enhancing the quality of education, providing students with modern facilities remains a top priority for the institution.
Principal Sanjay Narwariya also expressed his delight during the inauguration and noted that the format of the education system is rapidly evolving. He emphasized that DPS students will now gain real-world, practical knowledge and develop essential 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation.
He further added that the institution takes pride in actively implementing the National Curriculum Framework 2023 successfully.
In his address, the Chief Guest highlighted that any institution that educates its students in accordance with the demands of the time ensures a bright future for them.
The event was also graced by the presence of Conservator of Forests Sunil Chhidri, Dr. Anand Bhaskar (Faculty, Electronics and Communication Engineering), Dr. Chandni Joshi (Faculty, Computer Science and Engineering), and Management Member Dr. A. K. Sacheti. All distinguished guests and attending parents appreciated the school’s initiative toward academic innovation.
