DPS Udaipur hosts anti-drug awareness session for students

UDAIPUR— Delhi Public School (DPS), Udaipur, organized a special awareness session under the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority's "Transforming Tuesday" campaign for school students on July 21, reaching nearly 1,000 students from Classes IX to XI.

The session was led by Randhir Singh Mirdha, a judicial officer at the Udaipur Family Court, on the theme, "Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Your Dreams."

Addressing the students, Mirdha warned that drug traffickers often target young people by luring them into buying and selling narcotics with promises of quick financial gains. He said school and college students are particularly vulnerable to such exploitation and urged them to stay away from harmful substances and individuals who seek to mislead them.

He encouraged students to channel their energy toward achieving their dreams and building successful careers. Mirdha also advised them to seek help from their teachers or legal authorities if they encounter anyone involved in drug-related activities or have information that could help prevent such crimes.

Pro Vice Chairman Govind Agrawal said awareness programs of this nature play an important role in educating students, safeguarding their future and contributing to the creation of a safer society.

Principal Sanjay Narwariya welcomed the guest and emphasized the importance of self-discipline and self-control. He told students that mastering one's own mind is the foundation for leading a successful and meaningful life.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks to the guest speaker.
