Udaipur — Geetanjali University organized a grand orientation program for the newly admitted students of MBBS First Professional Batch 2025. Around 250 new students and their parents attended the event, marking the beginning of their academic journey in the field of medicine.
The Chief Guest of the program was Mr. J.P. Agarwal, Chairman of the Geetanjali Group. The Guests of Honour included Mr. Ankit Agarwal (Executive Director, Geetanjali Group) and Dr. R.K. Vyas (President, Geetanjali University). Other dignitaries present were Dr. Sangeeta Gupta (Dean, GMCH), Dr. Manjinder Kaur (Additional Principal), Dr. Harpreet Singh (Medical Superintendent), Mr. Sandeep Kumawat (Vice President), and Mr. Rishi Kapoor (CEO, GMCH).
Dr. Harpreet Singh presented an overview of the Geetanjali Group, highlighting the university’s infrastructure and hospital facilities. Dr. Manjinder Kaur introduced students to the academic environment and explained the structure of the MBBS curriculum.
Dr. Jitendra Jeengar addressed the students on the Anti-Ragging Policy, emphasizing that student safety and dignity are of utmost importance at the institution. He reiterated the university’s “Zero Tolerance Policy” toward ragging.
Dr. Sangeeta Gupta motivated the new entrants, stating, “Geetanjali University will be your home for the next five and a half years, where you will evolve into skilled and compassionate medical professionals.”
Dr. R.K. Vyas encouraged students to maintain discipline, consistency, and regularity in their studies.
In his inspiring address, Mr. J.P. Agarwal stressed the importance of knowledge, skill development, and good values, advising students to cultivate positive habits for holistic growth.
Senior students Ms. Anushka Soni and Dr. Vanshika Gupta shared their personal experiences at Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital, offering valuable insights to the newcomers.
On this occasion, the university’s annual magazine “Ehsaas” was also released.
The program was coordinated by Dr. Parul Chaturvedi, who ensured the smooth conduct of the ceremony.
