#### Now Knee Replacement Made Easier: Less Pain, Faster Recovery with Robotic Surgery

Udaipur: Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital, in collaboration with the Indian Medical Association, successfully organized a Continuing Medical Education (CME) program highlighting the advancements in robotic knee replacement surgery. The event witnessed participation from leading medical practitioners across the city.


Joint Replacement Surgeon Dr. Harpreet Singh delivered a detailed presentation on “Robotic Knee Replacement Surgery”, demonstrating through video how modern robotic technology enhances surgical precision, minimizes pain, and enables faster recovery for patients. He emphasized how robotics is transforming orthopedic care by ensuring better alignment and improved long-term outcomes.

Adding further insight, Joint Replacement Surgeon Dr. Ramavtar Saini spoke on “Osteoarthritis: Myths and Facts about the Knee – The New Era of Robotics.” Through an informative session, he addressed common misconceptions about knee disorders and explained the growing significance and future potential of robotic-assisted procedures.

Patients who had undergone robotic knee replacement surgery also shared their positive experiences, expressing satisfaction with reduced post-operative discomfort and quicker return to daily activities.

Dr. Harpreet Singh and Dr. Ramavtar Saini informed that Geetanjali Hospital is the first medical college in Rajasthan to offer comprehensive facilities for robotic knee replacement surgery.

The CME was chaired by IMA Udaipur President Dr. Anand Gupta, with the gracious presence of Secretary Dr. Prashant Agrawal, who highlighted the achievements of both joint replacement surgeons. The organizers expressed that such academic initiatives play a vital role in enhancing medical knowledge and keeping healthcare professionals updated with emerging technologies.

The program concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, where doctors engaged with experts to clarify their queries on robotic orthopedic procedures.
