Grand Inauguration of ‘Sports Synapse 2026’ at Geetanjali University

Udaipur: The inter-institutional sports competition “Sports Synapse 2026” was inaugurated with great enthusiasm at Geetanjali University. The event is being organized with the objective of promoting physical fitness, team spirit, and the overall development of students through various competitive sports activities.
The program was presided over by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Rakesh Kumar Vyas. Distinguished dignitaries present at the ceremony included Dr. Sangeeta Gupta (Dean, Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital), Dr. Arvind Yadav (Dean, Postgraduate Studies), Dr. Vijayamma Ajmera (Dean, Geetanjali College of Nursing), Dr. M. Balaji (Principal, Geetanjali Dental and Research Institute), Dr. Pallav Bhatnagar (Principal, Geetanjali College of Physiotherapy), Mr. Bhupendra Jain (Joint Registrar), Dr. Alok Rawat (Principal, Geetanjali College of Nursing), and Dr. Dinesh Sharma (Principal, Geetanjali School of Nursing), along with several other esteemed guests.
The inaugural ceremony was coordinated by Dr. Saurav Singh, Sports Officer Mr. Alok Tiwari, and Dr. Vichitra Vibhuti. The event was successfully organized with the active support and participation of faculty members and students from various constituent institutions of the university.
In his address, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Vyas emphasized the importance of sports in education, stating that games and athletics are as important as academic learning. He noted that sports help develop discipline, leadership qualities, patience, team spirit, and overall well-being among students.
“Sports Synapse 2026” aims to strengthen collaboration among colleges, promote healthy competition, and provide students with a dynamic platform to showcase their sporting talents. The event marks an enthusiastic beginning to the university’s annual sports activities.
