Grand Theatrical Production ‘Mere Krishna’ Directed by Rajeev Singh Dinkar

The magnificent stage production Mere Krishna, directed by renowned theatre director Rajeev Singh Dinkar, presents the divine journey of Lord Shri Krishna through a rich and immersive theatrical experience. The play features Saurabh Raj Jain in the role of Shri Krishna, Pooja B. Sharma as Radha and Mahamaya, and Arpit Ranka portraying the dual roles of Duryodhan and Kans.

The production is jointly produced by Vivek Gupta, Rajeev Singh Dinkar, and Vishnu Patil. The play has been written by Dr. Naresh Katyayan, with original music composed by Udbhav Ojha.

Mere Krishna traces the life of Lord Krishna from his childhood in Vrindavan to his final moments in Dwarka. With a runtime of 2 hours and 45 minutes, the play offers a profound theatrical journey that explores the divine, human, and philosophical dimensions of Krishna’s life. The narrative unfolds across 20 vibrant scenes, each depicting significant chapters from Shri Krishna’s life.

Rooted in eternal philosophy, the play’s storytelling remains engaging, visually rich, and emotionally powerful. It beautifully blends theatre, music, dance, and multimedia elements to create a captivating stage experience. The production also brings to light some lesser-known episodes and perspectives from Lord Krishna’s life.

Each scene has been conceptualized like a moving painting, where stagecraft, visual art, and spiritual exploration seamlessly merge. The core objective of the play is that audiences should not leave asking, “Who is Shri Krishna?” but instead carry the realization, “Shri Krishna eternally resides within me.”

According to director Rajeev Singh Dinkar, the tonal style of Mere Krishna is poetic yet modern—philosophical while remaining entertaining. Through this play, the creators aim to spark a meaningful dialogue among the people, focusing not merely on ritualistic worship, but on awareness, reflection, and inner awakening in the larger public interest.
