####Good News for Diabetes Patients: Inhaled Insulin Now Available in the Market

Udaipur:In a major development for diabetes care, inhaled insulin—administered through breathing rather than injections—has now become available in the Indian market, offering new hope and improved convenience for diabetes patients. This significant advancement will be one of the key highlights of the two-day 13th Endo Diacon National Annual Medical Conference, which begins tomorrow, January 17, and will conclude on January 18, at Hotel Ramada, Udaipur.

The prestigious conference is being organized by the MMS Endocrine and Diabetes Research Trust and is expected to bring together leading experts in the field of endocrinology from across the country.

Dr. D.C. Sharma, Chairman of the Trust, informed that nearly 25 nationally renowned endocrinologists and specialist physicians from premier medical institutions of India will participate in the conference. These experts will share their clinical experiences, research findings, and insights on the latest developments in the diagnosis and management of endocrine disorders.

The scientific sessions will include detailed lectures and discussions on modern treatment strategies and recent research related to diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, metabolic bone diseases, and various hormone-related conditions. The conference aims to update practicing physicians and healthcare professionals with evidence-based advancements and emerging therapies in endocrinology.

A major attraction of the conference will be a special lecture on inhalational insulin, a novel form of insulin therapy that is taken via inhalation. This therapy eliminates the need for multiple daily injections for certain patients and is expected to significantly improve treatment compliance, comfort, and quality of life for people living with diabetes. Experts will discuss its mechanism of action, clinical benefits, safety profile, and suitable patient selection.

Dr. Sharma stated that the introduction of inhaled insulin marks a new milestone in diabetes management, especially for patients who have fear of injections or difficulty adhering to conventional insulin regimens. The conference will also address practical aspects of incorporating this therapy into routine clinical practice.

Apart from scientific deliberations, the conference will serve as a platform for interaction among endocrinologists, physicians, and young medical professionals, fostering academic exchange and collaborative learning.

The Endo Diacon Conference has, over the years, established itself as a significant national forum for advancing knowledge in endocrinology and diabetes care. The 13th edition in Udaipur is expected to further strengthen awareness about innovative treatments and reinforce the importance of early diagnosis and comprehensive management of endocrine disorders.
