Entries Invited for Maharana Mewar Foundation Annual Awards

Udaipur: The Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation (MMCF), Udaipur, has invited applications for the prestigious Maharana Mewar Foundation Annual Awards, to be presented during the Annual Award Distribution Ceremony scheduled for 15 March 2026. Applications are open for various international, national, state and district-level awards.

Dr. Mayank Gupta, Coordinator of the Annual Awards Ceremony, informed that nominations and applications are being invited for individuals who have made noteworthy contributions in diverse fields. The last date to submit applications is 20 December 2025. The awards will be conferred by Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Chairman and Managing Trustee of MMCF, during the 42nd Annual Award Ceremony on 15 March 2026.

Completed application forms may be submitted at the Badi Pol and Sheetla Mata Gate of the City Palace between 10 AM and 4 PM.

Details of Awards

International Award

Colonel James Tod Award:
Presented to foreign scholars or dignitaries committed to global brotherhood and universal service, particularly those contributing significantly to Mewar and its heritage.
Award includes: ₹2 lakh, toran, shawl and citation.

National Awards

  • Haldighati Award: For remarkable service in print and electronic journalism.

  • Hakim Khan Sur Award: For promoting communal harmony, patriotism, national unity and integrity.

  • Maharana Uday Singh Award: For distinguished work in environmental protection and conservation.

  • Pannadhay Award: For acts of exceptional courage beyond one’s defined duties.

Each national award carries: ₹1 lakh, toran, shawl and citation.

State-Level Awards

  • Maharshi Harit Rashi Award: For contributions in spiritual awakening, Vedic traditions and ritual practices.

  • Maharana Mewar Award: For services contributing to educational, moral, social and economic upliftment.

  • Maharana Kumbha Award: For outstanding contributions in Indian culture, literature and history.

  • Maharana Sajjan Singh Award: For significant work in painting, architecture and fine arts.

  • Dagar Gharana Award: For excellence in classical music, classical dance and folk dance in Rajasthan.

  • Rana Punja Award: For individuals working for the upliftment of tribal communities in Mewar.

  • Aravali Award: For distinguished achievements in sports at the state level.

Each state-level award carries: ₹51,000, toran, shawl and citation.

Student Awards

  • Bhamashah Award: For students of bachelor’s degree/diploma programmes (2024–25 session). Eligible applicants include students studying in Rajasthan universities or Rajasthan natives studying outside the state.

  • Maharana Raj Singh Award: For students from Udaipur universities/colleges who excelled in sports and academic–co-curricular activities during 2024–25.

  • Maharana Fateh Singh Award: For students of Udaipur schools who achieved high marks in Class 10th and 12th exams in 2024–25, and those who excelled in sports and co-curricular activities.

Each student award includes: ₹21,000, medal and citation.

Dr. Gupta encouraged eligible individuals to apply and highlighted the Foundation’s commitment to honouring excellence, service and cultural contribution across all categories.
