Sujangarh pays tearful tribute to K. C. Maloo; community pledges to realize his dreams”

Family to fulfill K. C. Maloo’s unfulfilled dreams; all projects, including a 300-bed super-specialty hospital, to be realized

A memorial meeting held on Sunday at the Terapanth Sabha Bhawan in Sujangarh, in memory of the late Shri K. C. Maloo—a recipient of the 'Rajasthan Ratna' award, renowned industrialist, philanthropist, and founder-chairman of the Veena Group—concluded amidst an emotional atmosphere. A large number of public representatives, administrative officials, saints, members of social organizations, figures from the arts community, and citizens paid their heartfelt tributes.

Making a significant announcement at the gathering, Hemjit Maloo and Prashannjit Maloo, sons of the late K. C. Maloo, stated that fulfilling their father's unfulfilled dreams would be the family's top priority. They informed the gathering that the construction of the proposed 300-bed super-specialty hospital, estimated to cost approximately ₹250 crore, would be fast-tracked. Furthermore, all ambitious projects—such as an arts and music university, a performing arts academy, a dedicated arts and music channel, and the organization of arts and music festivals both domestically and internationally—would be brought to fruition.

Churu District Collector Abhishek Surana remarked that very few people in society dedicate their lives selflessly to public welfare. The late K. C. Maloo frequently discussed projects for the public good with him. His spirit of service, visionary outlook, and dedication to society serve as an inspiration to all.

Sujangarh MLA Manoj Meghwal stated that K. C. Maloo made an unforgettable contribution to the development of Sujangarh and the preservation and promotion of folk culture and the Rajasthani language. His work will continue to inspire future generations.

Former BJP candidate Santosh Meghwal described him as an exemplar of honesty, devotion to duty, and a spirit of service, noting that his dedication to his birthplace was unparalleled. Municipal Council Chairperson Nilofer Gauri stated that the late Mr. Malu made tireless efforts to establish a national identity for Sujangarh in the realms of art and culture. His untimely demise is an irreparable loss to the entire region.

Gopendra Nath Bhatt, Advisor to Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani, read out condolence messages received from across the country and abroad, remarking that a personality like K.C. Malu was as rare as the Koh-i-Noor diamond. His life will forever remain a beacon of inspiration for society.

At the conclusion of the event, Advocate Nirmal Kumar Malu expressed gratitude to all the attendees and affirmed that the entire Malu family is resolved to realize the vision the late K.C. Malu held for the development of Sujangarh.

On this occasion, Prithviraj Bafna, Rajkumari Futodia, and representatives from various social, religious, and cultural organizations paid their floral tributes and offered heartfelt homage to the late K.C. Malu, honoring his personality and his contributions to social service.
