Dr. Iqbal Sakka has once again amazed the world with his extraordinary craftsmanship. On the occasion of 100 years of World Table Tennis Day, the internationally renowned gold miniature artist from Udaipur has created the world’s smallest gold table tennis set—no bigger than a gram lentil—setting a remarkable new world record.
This microscopic masterpiece measures just 4×3 millimeters and includes a finely crafted table, delicate net, two rackets of 2 millimeters each, and a tiny ball of just half a millimeter. The entire set weighs only 200 milligrams of gold and took 56 hours of meticulous work to complete. The intricate detailing is so fine that it can only be viewed with the help of a lens.
The achievement has been officially recorded in the Hope International World Record Book, bringing pride to India on the global stage.
Dr. Sakka has also shared plans to present this unique creation, on behalf of India, to the world’s largest table tennis museum located in Shanghai, China. He has informed both the Prime Minister and the Sports Minister through a formal letter regarding this initiative.
With over 121 world records to his name, Dr. Sakka continues to demonstrate that Indian artistry excels even at the tiniest scale. ЁЯМЯ
