Kota: Anju Sharma of Kota was honoured for her remarkable contribution in the field of social service and women empowerment, while Assistant Professor Dr. Neha Pradhan was recognised for her outstanding work in education and literature. Both were conferred with the prestigious Samarthya Global Excellence Award and the Samarthya Rajasthan Gaurav Award at a national award ceremony held in Jhalrapatan.
The awards were presented during a grand समारोह organised by Samarthya Seva Sansthan, a reputed organisation based in Jhalawar. The honours were bestowed by Jhalawar Maharaj Rana Chandjeet Singh, District Collector Ajay Singh Rathore, Superintendent of Police Amit Budania, Harishankar Sharma, Pukhraj Jain, and Dr. Ramji Chandrawal.
Anju Sharma was recognised for her dedicated service as President of New Kota International Society, Kota. For the past 26 years, she has been actively working in the Hadoti region, contributing significantly to social and economic upliftment and women empowerment. Her initiatives include extending support to poor and needy families during festivals, organising women awareness programmes, and actively participating in various social campaigns.
Dr. Neha Pradhan was honoured for her literary contributions and efforts to document and highlight the historical and cultural heritage of the Hadoti region through her writing.
Dr. Ramji Chandrawal, Founder of Samarthya Seva Sansthan, informed that a total of 45 distinguished personalities from across the country were honoured with the Rajasthan Gaurav Award, while 25 individuals received the Samarthya Global Excellence Award. He added that although the organisation primarily works for the welfare of persons with disabilities, this year it has also initiated the recognition of eminent personalities of Rajasthan for their outstanding contributions in various fields.
