Kota: On the occasion of Shaheed Diwas, a patriotic poetry recitation competition was organized on Monday by Sankalp Kranti Sanstha, in collaboration with the Government Public Board Library, at the library auditorium. The event commemorated the sacrifices of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru.
In the competition, Shikha Agrawal from Bhilwara secured first place, Dr. Vaidehi Gautam from Kota won second place, and Rachna Soni from Udaipur achieved third place.
The chief guest, cardiologist Dr. Saket Goyal, and the event chair, Additional Commissioner Sunita Daga, honored the winners with shields and cash prizes.
More than 30 participants from various districts of the state took part in the competition, reciting patriotic poems on themes such as India’s freedom struggle, the sacrifices of martyrs, Maharana Pratap, Shivaji, and Operation Sindoor, immersing the audience in a spirit of patriotism.
Special guests included nationalist thinker and writer Ruchi Goyal and Ladpura C.B.E.O. Pratibha Tripathi. The program was conducted by coordinator Vinod Gaur. A large number of spectators and literary enthusiasts attended the event.
