BJP’s Two-Day Training Camp Begins, Workers Educated on Party Ideology and Organizational Structure

Udaipur: Bharatiya Janata Party City District unit on Monday inaugurated a two-day residential training camp under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Mahaabhiyan-2026. The camp aims to familiarize party workers with the BJP’s history, ideology, organizational structure, and principles of public service.

Addressing the gathering as the chief speaker, Chittorgarh MP and former Rajasthan BJP President CP Joshi said that the journey from the Bharatiya Jana Sangh to the BJP has witnessed several struggles and sacrifices. He stated that BJP’s five core principles — nationalism, democracy, socio-economic development, positive secularism, and value-based politics — have helped the party emerge as the largest political organization in the country, with more than 140 million members.

Highlighting the party’s ideological foundation, Joshi said BJP is driven by nationalism and nation-first politics. Criticizing the Congress party over allegations regarding electronic voting machines, he remarked, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has never hacked EVMs; he has won the hearts of the people through his work and leadership.”

Referring to the philosophy of Deendayal Upadhyay, Joshi explained the concept of Integral Humanism, stating that an individual and society are complementary to each other. He emphasized that India cannot become a developed nation until the last person in society is connected to the mainstream of development.

Speaking about global economic conditions, Joshi claimed that despite a sharp rise in fuel prices worldwide, India managed to maintain relatively controlled increases while keeping public welfare in mind. He also said that the world today is eager to move forward under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.

The training camp was inaugurated with floral tributes and lamp lighting before portraits of Bharat Mata, Deendayal Upadhyay, and Syama Prasad Mookerjee by BJP state general secretary Shravan Bagdi, state vice president and in-charge Nahar Singh Jodha, state vice president Dr. Alka Mundra, district president Gajpal Singh Rathore, city MLA Tarachand Jain and party in-charge Harish Patidar.

Welcoming the participants, district president Gajpal Singh Rathore described the training camp as the foundation of organizational strength, saying such initiatives ideologically empower workers and clarify their responsibilities toward the party and society.

Six sessions were conducted on the first day of the camp, covering topics such as the history and growth of BJP, organizational expansion, worker development and conduct, party functioning, welfare schemes of the government, and the role of social media and effective communication systems in strengthening the organization.

Speakers emphasized that BJP follows value-based politics and has never compromised with its principles. They stressed the importance of dialogue among workers and said continuous training is essential to maintain the enthusiasm and effectiveness of party cadres.

State vice president Nahar Singh Jodha said that training camps are necessary to keep workers ideologically active and organizationally strong.

The event was moderated by party general secretaries Paras Singhvi, Devilal Salvi, and Karan Singh Shaktawat.

Several senior leaders, office bearers, former legislators, district officials, morcha presidents, and party workers participated in the camp, including Vandana Meena, Dr. Sanjay Chandel, Rajni Dangi, Kavita Joshi, Hansa Mali, Kiran Tated, Dr. Pankaj Borana, Sampat Sankhla, Ravindra Shrimali, Atul Chandaliya, Sonika Jain, Vijay Ahuja, Mukesh Joshi, Pratibha Nagda, Vijaylakshmi Kumawat, Sapna Kurdia, and Dr. Seema Champawat among others.
