Hotel Federation of Rajasthan and other hotel associations paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Chief Minister

Hotel Federation of Rajasthan and various hotel associations paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Chief Minister to hold detailed discussions on the proposed Regularisation Act for budget hotels.
Rakesh Choudhary, President of the Udaipur Division of the Hotel Federation of Rajasthan, stated that during the meeting, representatives urged the government to introduce a special regularisation act for budget hotels in the current Assembly session. The proposed legislation is suggested to be modeled on the Gujarat Unauthorized Development Regularization Act, 2022 and the Kerala Government Land Assignment (Violation Regularization) Rules, 2025.
The objective of this proposal is to provide relief to genuine and operational budget hotels in the state, bring them into the formal regulatory framework, simplify compliance procedures, and strengthen Ease of Doing Business in Rajasthan’s hospitality sector.
On this occasion, the delegation also formally launched the new book authored by renowned chef Sameer Gupta, a proud moment for the organization.
The federation expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Deputy Chief Minister for his positive efforts in resolving issues related to the hotel license renewal process in Udaipur.
The delegation included Hussain Khan (President, Hotel Federation of Rajasthan and Patron, Hotel Association of Jaipur), Vipul Maini (Secretary, Hotel Association of Jaipur), and Ranvijay Singh Rathore (Secretary, Hotel Federation of Rajasthan).
The hospitality sector of Rajasthan expressed hope for a prompt, progressive, and positive decision under the visionary leadership of the state government.
