Udaipur: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta received a grand welcome during her visit to Udaipur. The City District unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Udaipur, organised a ceremonial reception at Gulab Bagh Gate intersection.
The welcome ceremony was held under the leadership of BJP State Vice President Nahar Singh Jodha and City District President Gajpal Singh Rathore. Several senior party leaders and office-bearers, including District General Secretaries Paras Singvi and Devilal Salvi, Dr. Pankaj Borana, former Mayor Rajni Dangi, District Vice Presidents Karan Singh Shaktawat and Kiran Tated, District Ministers Prakash Agarwal and Hazari Jain, along with many other party representatives, former and current councillors, and members of various BJP fronts and mandals, were present in large numbers.
A large gathering of party workers enthusiastically welcomed the Chief Minister to the valiant land of Mewar. On the occasion, she was presented with a statue of Maharana Pratap, while a brass idol of the sacred cow was gifted by the Vatsalya Samiti. The welcome ceremony included floral showers and garlanding as a mark of respect and honour.
Media in-charge Dr. Seema Champawat stated that the event reflected remarkable enthusiasm among party workers and showcased strong organisational unity. Leaders present at the occasion reiterated their commitment to strengthening the organisation and promoting development.
According to officials overseeing the Chief Minister’s security arrangements, after landing at Maharana Pratap Airport, she was scheduled to travel from Dabok to Sukher and proceed to Trident Udaipur. However, at the request of District President Gajpal Singh Rathore, she altered her route to reach Gulab Bagh Gate, where she received the grand welcome before proceeding to her scheduled engagements.
