UCCI Organizes Industrial Visit to Kundan Switchgears

Udaipur: The Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI) organized an industrial visit for its members to Kundan Switchgears Private Limited, in which more than 50 members of UCCI participated enthusiastically.

On this occasion, Hemant Jain, Director of the company, welcomed the participants and shared detailed information about the company’s establishment, its challenging early years, and the remarkable progress it has achieved by overcoming various obstacles. He explained that the company manufactures a wide range of LED lights on a large scale, with most of the production catering to domestic market demand across India.

During the visit, the participants toured the factory and closely observed the various processes involved in the manufacturing of LED lights. Members visited the production department, research and development (R&D) unit, quality control systems, packaging, and dispatch processes, gaining insight into the technical and operational aspects of production.

Hemant Jain also shared information about the company’s customer service, after-sales support, and marketing strategies. In addition, participants were briefed on the best practices followed in human resource management and office administration within the organization.

He further informed that the company operates on a “Zero Waste, Zero Defect” policy, and that the fourth generation of the founding family is currently contributing to the management and operations of the company.

UCCI President Manish Galundia, Honorary General Secretary Ashish Chhabra, and other participating members appreciated the company’s excellent operational practices and described them as inspirational for the industrial sector.

At the conclusion of the visit, Haseena Chakkivala, Chairperson of the UCCI Membership Engagement Sub-Committee, expressed gratitude to Hemant Jain and other company directors—Vijay Jain, Suyash Jain, Gitik Jain, and Amay Jain—as well as the staff members for their valuable time, cooperation, and knowledge sharing. She described the industrial visit as a significant and enriching learning experience for UCCI members.
