An Evening of Evergreen Melodies by “Suron Ki Mandli”, Musical Tribute Paid to Asha Tai

Udaipur: A memorable musical evening was organized by the Suron Ki Mandli organization at Madhushree Banquet Hall, Ashoka Palace, under the theme “Evergreen Songs,” where timeless classics transported music lovers into a world of nostalgia and emotions.

Founder President Mukesh Madhwani informed that around 30 singers performed melodious renditions one after another, turning the entire auditorium into a vibrant celebration of music and applause. He said the objective of such programs is to revive evergreen songs that continue to hold a special place in people’s hearts.

The program began with a soulful performance of “Tere Karan Mere Karan” by Anuradha Mathur, setting a musical tone for the evening. Arun Kumar Chaubisa received immense appreciation for “Kisi Raah Mein Kisi Mod Par,” while Ashok Joshi captivated the audience with “Aane Se Uske Aaye Bahar.” Divya Saraswat mesmerized everyone with “Chura Liya Hai Tumne Jo Dil Ko.”

Dr. Harsha Nibhani’s “Baahon Mein Chale Aao” and Gaurav Swarnakar’s “Chahunga Main Tujhe Sanjh Savere” elevated the mood further. Geeta Singh Rathore evoked emotions with “Tum Mujhe Yun Bhula Na Paoge,” while Gopal Gothwal left a strong impression with “Chal Akela Chal Akela.”

Jyoti Modiyani’s “Kabhi Kabhi Mere Dil Mein” and Kamal Kumar Juneja’s “Hai Apna Dil Toh Awara” were widely appreciated. The performance of “Zindagi Ek Safar Hai Suhana” revived memories of the golden era. Megha Goswami, Mohan Soni, and Neelam Kaushal also impressed with “Tujhe Na Dekhun To Chain,” “Aa Ja Tujhko Pukare,” and “Piya Aiso Jiya Mein Samaye.”

Neelam Patwa’s “Gali Mein Aaj Chand Nikla,” Nisha Rathore’s “O Mere Dil Ke Chain,” and Nutan Bedi’s “Zara Sun Haseena Ae Naazneen” were highly enjoyed by the audience. Preeti Mathur, Pushkar Nayak, and Rajlesh Jinagar also added charm to the evening with their performances.

S.D. Kaushal and S.K. Mehta presented songs reflecting the charm of old times, while Sangeeta Goswami and Sushil Vaishnav won hearts with their soulful singing. Vijay Rajput and Vishnu Vaishnav energized the event further, and Yogesh Upadhyay along with Mahavir Jain delivered a grand finale performance.

Tribute to Legendary Singer Asha Bhosle

A deeply emotional moment occurred during the event when news of the demise of legendary singer Asha Bhosle was received. The atmosphere turned somber as all members of Suron Ki Mandli and the audience observed a two-minute silence to pay tribute.

Secretary Arun Chaubisa said it was an irreparable loss for the music world, adding, “We have spent countless beautiful moments of life with her songs, and her melodies will always remain alive in our memories and hearts.”

Treasurer Yogesh Upadhyay informed that the organization will soon hold a special musical tribute program in her memory, where all artists will pay homage through her evergreen songs.

The event was efficiently anchored by Nutan Vedi, Gopal Gothwal, and Mohan Soni. The evening concluded with a collective resolution to continue promoting and preserving the tradition of evergreen music so that future generations remain connected to these timeless melodies.
