Training Program for Mediators organized in Udaipur

Udaipur : A one-day training program for mediators was organized under the aegis of the Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. The program was conducted under the guidance of the Member Secretary of the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority, Jaipur, and as per the directions of District Legal Services Authority Chairman and District & Sessions Judge Gyan Prakash Gupta.

According to ADJ Kuldeep Sharma, the training program featured key resource persons including POCSO Court Judge (No. 2, Bhilwara) Archana Mishra, ADJ (No. 1, Udaipur) Manish Kumar Vaishnav, Chief Judicial Magistrate Udaipur Ambika Solanki, and trained mediator and advocate Pramila Acharya from Jodhpur.

Judge Archana Mishra and trained mediator Pramila Acharya explained the finer aspects of mediation. They provided detailed insights into the entire process—from the referral of cases to the mediation center to their resolution through mediation. Role-play exercises were also conducted to demonstrate how disputes can be resolved amicably by satisfying all parties involved.

A total of 38 advocates from Udaipur, 29 from Bhilwara, 11 from Sirohi, and 1 from Salumber participated in the training program. Additionally, one retired judicial officer from Bhilwara and one serving judicial officer from Salumber district also attended the session.
