Surprise Inspection Conducted at Central Jail

Udaipur. Under the supervision of the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority, Jaipur, and in continuation of the instructions issued by Gyan Prakash Gupta, Chairperson of the District Legal Services Authority, Udaipur, a surprise inspection of the Central Jail was carried out by Authority Secretary and ADJ Kuldeep Sharma.

ADJ Sharma informed that during the inspection of the Udaipur Central Jail, details regarding the availability of free legal aid, appeals, medical facilities, food quality, breakfast arrangements, prisoner visitation, STD facilities, and other services were reviewed. Jail Superintendent Rajpal Singh was present during the inspection.

Special directions were issued concerning prisoners’ appeals and access to free legal assistance during the visit.
