Khelo India University Games 2025 Kick Off in Udaipur

Udaipur. The national-level inauguration ceremony of the Khelo India University Games 2025 was held on Monday in Jaipur, marking the official start of the sporting extravaganza in the state. Udaipur will formally host the Games beginning Tuesday.

Dr. Mahesh Paliwal, District Sports Officer, informed that Judo competitions will commence from Tuesday at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Multipurpose Indoor Hall, with an inaugural ceremony scheduled at 10 AM. All Judo teams participating in the events have already arrived in Udaipur.

Dr. Paliwal further stated that Beach Volleyball competitions will begin from 28 November. All necessary sports equipment has been delivered to Udaipur, and preparations are underway. Arrangements for office domes, dining halls, spectator seating, laying sand on the courts, and ground leveling have been completed, along with the electricity setup.

Similarly, preparations are ongoing at Fatehsagar’s Pal for Kayaking and Canoeing events, which will begin on 2 December.
