Udaipur, A solemn yet inspiring tribute was paid to legendary freedom fighter and poet Pandit Ram Prasad Bismil on his birth anniversary during a special session of the Sanatan Pathshala organized at Shiv Shankar Gaushala, Kaladwas.
The programme was jointly organized by the Shiv Shankar Gaushala Committee and Sanatan Pathshala Committee, Udaipur, bringing together devotees, social workers, and members of the community to remember one of India's most revered revolutionary heroes.
The event commenced with a special Vedic Yajna dedicated to the memory of Bismil, whose life and sacrifice continue to inspire generations of Indians. Addressing the gathering, Sanatan Pathshala Coordinator and Vedic scholar Bhupendra Sharma highlighted Bismil's invaluable contribution to India's freedom movement.
He said that Bismil was not only a fearless revolutionary but also a powerful writer whose words ignited patriotic fervour among the masses. Through his courage, strategic acumen, and unwavering commitment to the cause of independence, he emerged as one of the most formidable challenges to British rule.
A moving moment of the programme came when participants joined together in a collective rendition of Bismil's immortal patriotic composition, "Sarfaroshi Ki Tamanna", filling the atmosphere with a spirit of nationalism and reverence.
Gaushala Secretary Shalini Rajawat informed that the special session also included pranayama and meditation exercises conducted by yoga instructor Jignesh Sharma, emphasizing the importance of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Participants were administered a pledge to actively support cow service and cow conservation, reaffirming their commitment to preserving India's cultural and spiritual heritage.
Presiding over the programme, social worker Naresh Purbia underlined the significance of cow protection in Indian tradition. He remarked that "Gau Dhan has always been regarded as a source of Dharma, prosperity, fulfillment, and spiritual liberation."
The event concluded with patriotic slogans, a peace invocation, and the distribution of prasad. The programme served as a meaningful blend of patriotism, spirituality, and cultural values, while honoring the enduring legacy of Ram Prasad Bismil and his supreme sacrifice for the nation.
