Divisional Pension Court to be Held in Udaipur on April 27

Udaipur: A Divisional Pension Court will be organized in Udaipur on April 27, 2026, to ensure the prompt resolution of various issues faced by retired pensioners of the state government. In this regard, a preparatory meeting was held on Friday at the Regional Office of the Pension Department in Udaipur.

The meeting was attended by Additional Director (Pension) Ruchi Priyadarshi, Rural Treasury Officer Preeti Verma, Joint Director of Education (Udaipur Division), and Pension Society President Bhanwar Seth, along with other concerned officials. Detailed discussions were held regarding the successful organization of the upcoming pension court and the necessary preparations.

Additional Director Ruchi Priyadarshi informed that the first pension court being organized this time will be dedicated to the Education Department. Cases of widows, deserted women, and disabled pensioners will be given priority. She further stated that a 14-point checklist has been issued for the office-level scrutiny of pension cases of officers and employees of the Education Department who are scheduled to retire in the coming months. This step aims to ensure timely processing and settlement of pension cases.

Judicial and Policy Matters Not Included

Mrs. Ruchi Priyadarshi clarified that judicial and policy-related matters will not be included in the pension court. Employees and pensioners related to the Education Department can submit their grievances at the Joint Director Education Office, the Treasury Offices of districts in the division, or the Regional Office of the Pension Department by March 25, 2026.

Special Cell Formed

A special Pension Court Cell has been established at the Pension Department’s Regional Office in Udaipur. Deputy Director Mayank Vyas has been appointed as the Nodal Officer, while Amiuddin Gauri, Kunal Shrimali, and Pankaj Rewad will serve as members of the cell.

Pensioners can submit their grievances in the prescribed format either offline or online by March 25, 2026. At the end of the meeting, Additional Director Ruchi Priyadarshi appealed to all concerned departments and pensioners to ensure maximum participation and help make this first pension court a success.
